Peugeot 206 Electric Roof Not Working

I had an intemittent issue with the electric hood of my 1998 bmw z3. Billy i have a peugeot 206 cc the electric roof was working hi billy i have a peugeot 206 cc the electric roof was working fine but when i change the passenger side window regulator and the glass window on the rear driver side the roof does not open any mor. Peugeot 206 electric roof not working.

The abs pump in my version of the 206cc controls the speedo hence when the car logged the abs fault think it was a communication fault the car ecu could not determine the speed accurately and would not open the roof. It is really easy to replace but a pain to set up not really the job for an amature to do. Beeping alarm sound when driving warning the roof is not shut down and locked correctly. It was only a question as ive been out to one of these before when the woman who owned it had forgot to draw the blind.

Most roof problems are not due to the roof ecu but it sounds as if this one probably is. I left my car with cayman autos and a couple of days later i was told the problem. Neither the window nor roof switches work nor do i get the usual warning tones when i press them. Turn off the ignition wait 30 seconds then try again if this does not work you have to read the manual and it says open the boot and pull the string on the parcel shelf find the allen key in tool. It is mounted on the boot bulkhead below the lh speaker. Cheaper than the manufacturer.

The ussual fault is the rotary switch in the boot on the end of the roof mechanism. Peugeot convertible roof repair experts. But then once the car was driven the code would be logged again and the roof stopped working.
