And that s what i like. These are old recordings on new vinyl of course and sound like it with the original recording flaws pops scratches and all. First of you have to like robert johnson and or be a fan of old blues recordings. The speed of the guitar playing obviously inspired the myth about johnson s deal with the devil at the crossroads.

I found his voice somewhat shrill for a blues singer and his guitar playing while ground breaking a bit high pitched. This is a gatefold set of 2 records on 180 gram vinyl and is a beautiful addition to any blues collection. 4 8 out of 5. Be the first video your name here.
